Dragon Boat:

we hear the drum calling our heart's beat; it pulls us to our teammates. We unite in camaraderie to succeed at the challenge. Working together in sync with all in the long boat. We use our bodies to control the rhythm and flow of our craft moving with speed through the water. The challenge subsides and we become one living breathing moving unit. Connecting to one another through the blood which runs through our bodies in rhythm with the beat of the drummer.

Family Together:

a group or people united in daily life and all it holds.  We work together for the good of all.  Each person in the family group comes with their own unique and distinct personality traits, and where we are in the group has influence on our character.  We will remain united even as we grow into our own independent lives and families.  The bond of blood ties and connected pasts will always remain.

HEART CONNECTION:

felt deep within from the moment of conception and through all of life’s journeys.  We feel the vibrant pulse of energy which runs through all of life on our planet, our earth mother, life giver.  We meet with like minded companions on the journey and celebrate our connection to one and all.  We are striving to be in harmony with the vital life force of all living beings.  We beat the drum as we dance our heart connection and celebrate together.

CLIMB ONWARD:

with bold determination.  We each have our own skill level and work independently but as a team sharing our plans Ideas and experiences.  When we come to a block or twist in the journey we stop contemplate and come to the best conclusion.  Working through problems our skill mounts as we ascend and self esteem grows with the climb.

HAND IN HAND:

that’s where I really want to be.  You are my special one and your happiness and contentment are so important to me.  It seems wonderful to me that in this world of so many interesting people we meet the one person who is complement to your soul.  We have such a good time with each other and can sit in silence or have a good conversation.  Happy to be together.

FOOTSTEPS ON THE PATH:

leaving visible sign of those who went before us.  Often in the painting on the wall carved into cliffs and artifacts kept sacred over time.  We all leave behind traces of our presence.  We learn from our ancestors and hope to pass along gifts of wisdom to our young.

ACROSS THE ICE:

Companions enjoying our time out in the wonders of nature, which we have the pleasure of taking advantage of.  When I come out in the morning with leash or harness in hand, extreme pleasure greets my approach.  Acceptance and trust along with total devotion are mine for just being a friend, caring and providing.  What a gift.

KINDRED SPIRITS:

spending quiet thoughtful time together.  When Life is so busy with daily tasks and extended family, nurturing the one who is connected to our spirit is most important.  Talk is not necessary.  Time together is precious.  Often just being beside one another listening intently, brings harmony and loving feelings.

ENERGY:

invisible and powerful, part of the force which our world is full of.  We can not see it, and often are not aware of the power which is part of all life.  What is it that controls the sun and moon, the seasons in their regular turning?  Tides which come and go so regularly you could set your clock to them.  Invisible energy connects all life.  What we do on our life path has effect on everything else.

EXPERIENCE:

this adventure with our good friends who also enjoy being outdoors in our world active and vital.  We have always taken pleasure in challenging ourselves, and now take every opportunity to re-unite and spend some time doing what we love most.  When home again we will relive the experience.

SILENCE:

so very important to tike time in contemplative quiet.  Our world is so full of sound, music, cars, and people that sometimes the symphony of nature can be lost in the throng.  Our spirits need a period of silence to get in touch with our deep inner selves. That person who we are when we are alone can disappear in the bustle of life.  When I return to myself, after some contemplative stillness, I am a more relaxed well rounded person who appreciates life.
